The Greek Emerging Leaders series is a new leadership series for sophomores in Greek organizations. Leadership is an important aspect of Greek letter organizations and it is important to prepare our younger members to take on leadership roles within their organization. The students that are selected to participate in this program are nominated by their chapter President.

Topics include, but are not exclusive to:
Why are we Greek? – Goal Setting and Leadership Styles
Effective Communication and Conflict Resolution
Risk Management
Programming Skills
Positive PR – Creating Positive Relationships with Administration and other Greek organizations
The Role of the Governing Council
Ritual

The group will also participate in a community service project. We have visited with the residents at Tockwotton Home several times and have also helped out Planned Parenthood.

Session dates
Sessions are always on Tuesdays from 3:30-4:45 pm. There will be a Fall and a Spring Series for the 07-08 academic year.

Presidents will be contacted in September to nominate a sophomore to participate in the program.
