The Career Development Office works with you to prepare for your career. Here’s what your time at JWU looks like with us:
freshman year: explore the many career options and paths available with your degree. Begin to implement a plan to gain valuable work and life experiences.
sophomore year: Formulate career goals; then build a comprehensive education plan that includes industry experience to support these goals.
junior year: Fine-tune your career plan and pick up speed on building the necessary skills through work experience in your industry.
senior year: Organize your materials and market yourself at career fairs, career forums, and on-campus recruiting. These are all examples of the multiple opportunities we provide you by bringing the employers to you during numerous recruitment events.
