Together with your roommate(s), write a statement or create a list for each section that explains the parameters that have been agreed upon. You can use the answers from the previous questions to help you decide what parameters are needed. Add any items that are important to you and your roommate(s) under additional topics.
Section 1: How are we going to arrange the room? Use the common space? (Organizational preferences, cleanliness habits, furniture placements, etc.)
Section 2: What are we going to share and what are we keeping personal? (Clothing, electronics, TV, stereo, computer, food, etc.)
Section 3: How are we going to spend time in the room? (Study hours, social time, sleeping habits, etc.)
Section 4: What are the rules for guests? (Overnight guests, quiet hours, responsibility for guest, etc.)
Section 5: Communication (Styles of communication, importance of communication, etc.)
Section 6: Additional Topics (Study schedules, sleeping habits, privacy issues, likes/dislikes, "pet peeves", etc.)
