NBC10's Jim Taricani, Hollywood's Michael Corrente Headline PROVIDENCE, R.I. — October 5, 2007 — Two prominent Rhode Islanders will share their professional and personal life experiences as Distinguished Visiting Professors to Johnson & Wales University. Renowned director/producer/playwright Michael Corrente joins The Hospitality College and Jim Taricani, award-winning investigative reporter, from local TV NBC10, will be the guest of The John Hazen White School of Arts and Sciences.
Jim Taricani will speak on Monday, October 15, 2007 at 9:20 a.m. Well-known for his thorough investigative reporting and journalistic ethics for which he was placed under house arrest for a story on Providence politics, Taricani will speak about the role ethics play in government, sports Both events will be held in newly redesigned Xavier Auditorium located at Johnson & Wales University's Downcity Campus, 261 Pine Street, Providence, R.I.
