The CLI is committed to develop and recognize future leaders throughout
our campus, local, state and national community. While the core work of the
CLI is centered around current Johnson & Wales University students, the
CLI provides leadership development opportunities for many high school and
non-profit groups in an effort to continue to build engaged, future leaders.
High school and community groups can work with the CLI to design customized leadership development experiences that will meet the development needs of the organization. Please see the programming page for more information on these programs.
The CLI works in collaboration with the campus Admissions office to host the Outstanding Student Leader of the Year competition that recognizes ten of the best high school leaders from across the country each year with high level scholarship support and a chance to compete in challenging leadership situations in front of top community leaders as judges.
