Charlotte was recently named one of the best places to live by Money magazine.

Situated in the center of the New South, Charlotte is located within a day's drive of over 50 percent of the population of the United States. More than 300 of the Fortune 500 companies have offices, including nine of which are headquartered in the Charlotte area, ranking Charlotte 6th nationally in the number of headquartered firms. Decidedly urban, Charlotte maintains a distinctive small town feel and offers many extra-curricular activities from professional sports to a lively arts scene.

Want to go to a concert, see a play or ballet or visit a museum? If it is happening in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area, you will find it on Charlotte Culture Guide, a comprehensive, up-to-date website featuring cultural events and attractions.
