OPENING WEEKEND SCHEDULE

Check-In begins at the University Events Center on the first floor of the Academic Center at 801 West Trade Street. Please arrive at your assigned time by the first letter of your last name as listed below. The doors will be closed and Check-In closes at 2 p.m. each day.

Friday, September 5:

Check-In for freshmen with last names A-K (9 a.m. – 2 p.m.)
A-B      9 a.m.
C-D      10 a.m.
E-G      11 a.m.
H-I       12 p.m.
J-K       1 p.m.
(Check-In closes at 2 p.m.)

Academic Assessment (8 a.m. – 2 p.m) - Library
(if not completed over the summer)

Housing Move-In (9 a.m. – 5 p.m.) - Residence Halls
(for cleared students after completing Check-In)

Saturday, September 6:

Check-In for freshmen with last names L-Z (9 a.m. – 2 p.m.)
L-M      9 a.m.
N-P      10 a.m.
Q-S      11 a.m.
T-V      12 p.m.
W-Z     1 p.m.
(Check-In closes at 2 p.m.)

Academic Assessment (8 a.m. – 2 p.m) - Library
(if not completed over the summer)

Housing Move-In (9 a.m. – 5 p.m.) - Residence Halls

Sunday, September 7:

College of Culinary Arts Orientation - Academic Center
• AM Culinary Labs (8 – 10:30 a.m.) - report to first lab class which begins
September 7 in full culinary uniform
• All Culinary students in academics (9:30 – 10:30 a.m.) - Hance Auditorium

Convocation (11 a.m. – 12 p.m.) - Gateway Village Promenade

Campus BBQ – Students Only (12:15 – 1:30 p.m.) - Residence Halls

College of Business Orientation (1:45 – 4:15 p.m.) - Hance Auditorium
