Get involved in development of collateral, media relations and event planning and management. Duties include web site maintenance, writing press releases and promotional copy, interacting with meeting and sports event planners to provide welcome materials and registration support and assistance with logistics of sporting events. Must be able to provide his/her own transportation to Cabarrus County offices. Inventors Digest is seeking creative, energetic interns to perform marketing and sales projects. Duties include sending materials to subscribers and advertisers, fielding customer-relations calls and reaching out to potential advertisers. Looking for bright minds to help us conceive and execute creative, cost-efficient ways to increase exposure of the magazine. Ability to cope with change, stellar interpersonal communications skills and inner confidence are musts for this position. Knowledge of Mail Merge and Microsoft Office 2007 applications a plus. Community Outreach Before the school year ends, we want to remind everyone - students, staff and faculty - to report any and all community outreach or volunteering activities undertaken during this past school year by filling out a Post Activity Event form and returning to Bernice Parenti. This valuable information is compiled into an annual report that summarizes all of the Charlotte campus' activity in the community. Don't let your volunteering or community efforts be overlooked, our goal is to included everyone who has given back in some way to our community!
