The Department of Management at Johnson & Wales University works in
partnership with companies worldwide to equip you with the skills that
will be in greatest demand in the 21st century.
We understand that you will have questions deciding on which area of
study to focus on. That is why our faculty is composed of career professionals,
who've done what you want to do. They have started new businesses or held
management positions in companies like Fidelity, Textron, Dun & Bradstreet,
Citizens Bank, Raytheon, Bloomingdale's and Procter & Gamble. The
faculty at J&W is the core of your educational experience and the
foundation of our departments.
As
a freshman you will have the opportunity to check out different career
tracks and decide which one is right for you. You will see and hear different
experiences by upperclassman, business partner involvement and faculty
input, which will help lead you to your career focus. Later, as a sophomore,
junior or senior you will gain the special advantages the Department of
Management offers-closer relationships with industry representatives,
professional certifications and special programs, which complement your
curriculum. At every step, we will offer a wealth of opportunities to
evaluate your career choices.
